What a performance! England U16s have made it two wins from two after a hard-fought 10-4 (1-1, 3-1, 2-1, 4-1) win against the hosts Czech Republic.

As the match progressed, England began to edge what was a physical battle and they ultimately proved too strong for the Czechs.

In the third, England displayed real character to turn the match around and some superb team play ensured they were 10-9 ahead going into the final quarter.

Unfortunately, the Germans’ extra experience showed in the last eight minutes as they regained the lead and were able to close the match out.

Every England player can be proud of their performances here and we now look forward to taking on the hosts Czech Republic for the bronze tomorrow, 10.50am start (UK time).
