GBR U19 men’s Euro qualifiers schedule & ticket info are out! - April 17, 2018

Ticketing update as of 22.04.18: The Saturday May 11th evening session GBR v UKR is a sell-out, and there is limited availability on Friday May 10th. Apply for tickets now to avoid missing out!

The Water Polo Management Group are delighted to announce the schedule for the LEN European Qualification Tournament for U19 junior men May 11-13 in Manchester.

Great Britain take on Lithuania in their opening fixture on Friday 11th at 1900hrs, and Ukraine the following evening at the same time. After Ukraine and Lithuania play their final match on Sunday morning, Great Britain will take on Greece at 1130hrs.

With less than 4 weeks to go the squad are really coming together as a unit, and final preparations are underway. The final 13 will be selected from the 17-man squad this coming weekend, and we will publish the team next week.

Just before they arrive in Manchester for the Qualification tournament, our U19s have an intensive 3-day camp to Malta, playing 3 games in 3 days against senior opposition in order to fine tune their game plans.

The Management Group are deeply indebted to the Local Organising Committee who have previously hosted 2 extremely successful tournaments at the East Manchester Leisure Centre.

Mark Ray said, “the number of volunteers who can come together to produce such a seamless tournament is testament to the dedication we have from those within the sport and those recruited through the City Council. These events could simply not go ahead without the superb support and vision of Manchester City Council, the City of Manchester Club, and local universities.”

Tickets are very limited, with fewer than 100 available for each session. Applications for tickets should be made on this form and sent to mrmsray@gmail.com. Early application is recommended, as tickets for the last event sold out in 2 weeks!

Ticket prices are as follows:

All event pass:​Adult £25, under 12s £15
Session pass: Adult £10, under 12s £5

All money will be collected on the day at the venue.

   Saturday 12 May ​​1730hrs Greece v Lithuania will be my 2nd choice

   I would prefer to have good seats for my 2nd choice than poor (i.e. in the corner) seats for the GBR match. Thanks
