Welcome to the 2017 Manchester EU Nations from Ian Elliot - November 17, 2017

Ian Elliot, Chair of the England WPMG is delighted to welcome U21 teams from the Czech Republic, Denmark, Scotland, Wales and of course the hosts England, and the senior CoM men’s team, to the inaugural U21 EU Nations event in Manchester this weekend.

Ian said, “We are looking forward to another great event here in Manchester building on the success of the LEN European Junior Men’s qualification tournament earlier in the year. Once again volunteers from the polo community will be running an international water polo event supported by Manchester City Council, with the help of the City of Manchester club and the Greater Manchester Volunteer Inspire Programme.

I am enormously grateful to all of our volunteers from both inside and outside the polo community who have worked tirelessly to help me and the other volunteer members of the event’s Organising Committee make this happen. On behalf of the Organising Committee I would like to welcome all the teams, coaches, officials and supporters to Manchester, and wish all the competing athletes good luck and an enjoyable weekend of international polo”
