Great Britain suffered a narrow 12-9 (1-3, 5-3, 2-1, 4-2) loss to Bosnia & Herzegovina in their third European Championships Qualification game on Friday afternoon.
After a strong start, with two goals from Pierre Rivet and a penalty from Ben Alderson, Great Britain took an early lead (1-3), but the hosts hit back in the second to level at 6-6.
Great Britain had their chances to edge back in front, but it wasn’t to be as Bosnia and Herzegovina slowly took the advantage, winning the third 2-1 and then finishing strongly in the fourth 4-2.

Tim Dunsbee’s squad will now look to end their campaign on a high in their fourth and final game on Sunday against Finland, 8.45am start (UK time).

Great Britain’s U19 Men secured a powerful 7-20 (2-5, 2-3, 2-7, 1-5) victory against Finland in the final game of their European Championships Qualification campaign on Sunday morning.
Tim Dunsbee’s squad dominated from the start and comfortably won all four quarters.
Alastair Cook top scored with six, while there were also goals for Ben Alderson (3), Aaron Downer (2), William Thompson (2), Louie McKie (2), Alexander Sharp (2), Reuben Powell (1), Pierre Rivet (1) and Daniel Preston (1).
The result sees Great Britain finish fourth in Group A, behind Bosnia & Herzegovina, Czechia and France.
