London Otter successful in round 1 of European Aquatics 2024 Challenger Cup -

Congratulations to London Otter women who have booked their ticket to the next round of European Aquatics 2024 Challenger Cup. The last match on Sunday 10th November in Group C saw Czech Republic hosts, Asten Johnson Strakonice, take on Otter Swimming and Water Polo Club. The Czechs opened up a 5-3 lead at the turnaround, but Otter turned up in the third quarter and two goals from Rebecca Mulcahy and Sarah Snyder, plus one from Izzy Dean, swung the game in their favour.

The vocal home support reached a new pitch when Czech international Josefina Hola took her sixth goal of the game to level at 9-9 with 3:49 remaining. However with the scores all-square at full-time, the hosts had to settle for just one point as they missed their first three penalties, while London-based Otter wwnt 3-0 to take the win and secure their place in the next round.
