Welcome to our July News! It’s great to see that most clubs have been able to return to normal training and athletes are going through the pain of finding their water legs again. Who knew swimming was so much effort! The training schedules have been intense as clubs prepare for the BWPL which is due to resume in September. Some clubs have been fortunate enough to have already played some competitive matches.
Enfield have resumed all of their water polo sessions after the lockdown.
Welcome to our June edition! It feels like a time of renewed optimism – the pools are open, the sun is out and we have an exciting summer of water polo to look forward to with the British Championships in July, hopefully a ManUp festival and the start of the British Water Polo League in September, provided we continue to make progress and avoid a further wave of covid.
All players should now be able to train with their clubs.
Welcome to our May edition of Water Polo News. This last month has given us reason for optimism as the pools have reopened at last! It has been exciting for the over 18 water polo community to dip their toes back in the pool for some public lane swimming, as well as for many juniors who have been allowed to train with their clubs. And to top it all off there are only 17 days left until our clubs can start senior training!
