Welcome to another edition of our monthly Water Polo Club News. The frenetic activity of the last few months has calmed down as clubs relax into the summer holidays. In this edition we look enviously at those lucky clubs with access to outdoor pools in the hot weather. We also pick up other activity in clubs during the month of July.
Otter Swimming & Water Polo club celebrated it’s 150th birthday in July.
June has been another action packed month for the fantastic sport of water polo. We have had the finals of the British Championships, the great City of Manchester Summer Water Polo Festival and the London Youth Games. MANUP! has staged some amazing events and this month they organised a Water Polo tournament at the Liverpool’s iconic Royal Albert Dock. The sun is shining and the sport is basking after some great events!
The British Championships took place over the weekend of 1st/2nd June at the fantastic outdoor Cheltenham Lido.

Liverpool travelled to the Czech Republic to participate in a tournament using the new rules. First up they made short work of Plzen winning the match 5 -18.
