Liverpool and Lancaster triumph in British Championships 2017 - May 29, 2017

Congratulations to Lancaster men and City of Liverpool women, both winners at this year’s British Water Polo Championships May 27-28.

Lancaster City Water Polo – Men’s Winners

There was a carnival atmosphere at the Sandford Park Lido, Cheltenham as Lancaster beat Cheltenham 12-11 in a tense and close men’s final, while Liverpool edged Coventry 10-7 in the women’s final to retain their title. Bronze medallists in the men’s event were Invicta who beat Manchester in the classification game, while Manchester women secured third place in their event beating Otter. A fantastic weekend of water polo action at a brilliant venue!
