On an exciting day for polo, the British Universities & Colleges Sport Governing Body announced selections for the senior men’s and women’s teams which would be representing GBR at the World University Games in Chinese Taipei, August 19-30, 2017.
GBR senior men’s Head Coach, Tim Dunsbee, told us that, “Picking this team from the available players who qualify for the event, has been difficult. We have selected a good balance of players which gives us the right mix so that we can play and have cover in all areas of the game. ”
Tim was clear that, “playing in the WUGs is a huge step for the team but we are hopeful that we can represent GBR and BUCS with distinction. I’m really happy that there guys are putting every effort into being the best they can be.”

Many of the women’s team are currently involved with the England Senior Women’s team competing in the EU Nations event in Pilsen, CZE, and we wish them and the BUCS Senior Men’s team good luck in their preparations and at the event in August.
