It’s a first as monthly GB polo podcast is launched! - February 1, 2019

Scotland’s own Paul Metcalfe is the host and driving force behind the new GB polo podcast, ALL WRAPPED UP which will go live on Sun 10th February at 8pm. Featuring in-depth interviews with polo people from across the spectrum of British water polo, the monthly podcast promises to be essential listening for all fans of our game.

The first episode will be recorded at the BWPL weekend in Sheffield on Sat 9th Feb and will feature two well known, and forthright personalities on the senior club and international water polo scene; Sean King & Nick Buller.

Sean King has had a long and ongoing career in polo. He was a senior GB international player, a London2012 Olympian, coach of the 2018 GBR U19 junior men’s team (the first junior men’s team to qualify for a LEN Euro Champs for a decade) and is a continuing presence in BWPL’s Div 1 with Invicta.

Deeply versed in world international water polo, Nick Buller had a long career as a player before he rose to eminence as the highly successful head coach of London Otter Women’s water polo, and a successful international coach with GBR junior women, including like Sean, managing qualification by a GBR junior team to LEN Euro Championships, in Nick’s case of the GBR U17 junior women through to the Baku 2015 European Games.
