Tickets are now available for our GBR U17 junior men’s LEN Euro Qualifiers in Manchester in 2 weeks time! - April 18, 2019

With 2 weeks to go until their crucial LEN European Qualification event in Manchester, Fri May 3rd to Sunday May 5th, our GBR U17 junior men’s squad is currently training hard in Dubrovnik, and we are delighted to announce their confirmed match schedule for the Manchester Qualification Tournament.

Featuring teams from Israel, Slovakia and France as well as a senior men’s ENG V SCO fixture and Junior women’s internationals on show, the three day event is sure to be popular with spectators, and if you are planning to attend and cheer our lads to victory, please email ejmwpmanchester2019@gmail.com now to secure tickets and guarantee your seat for this very special event!

By way of background, the Great Britain U17 squad first met in December 2017 and has been training once a month in Manchester since then.

Under the leadership of HC Phil Powell the players have enjoyed training camps in Barcelona (Spain), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Eger (Hungary) and Millfield School, as well as appearing in the EU Nations in Prague (Czech Republic) and the Slowianka Cup in Gorzow (Poland).

The team hopes to emulate last year’s U19 GBR men’s qualification for the European Championships; the first time for a decade that a Great Britain junior men’s team had qualified for Europe’s premier junior water polo event.
