England men and women travel to Dublin, Ireland this weekend for the 2023 Home Nations Championships, where England’s senior men will set out to defend the title they won last year in Coventry.
This year the England men are led by highly experienced international coach Nick Hume who joined the England and GB men’s squads recently. Nick says “I am looking forward to a strong performance not only from the England squad but also the other British athletes competing for selection in next month’s LEN European qualification event next month”.
The England team includes a senior debut for Solihull’s Oliver Vodden aged 20, congratulations Oliver!
England’s women have selected a team for Dublin which includes 15 year old Lucy Blenkinship and Amelie Perkins, both making their debuts, congratulations Lucy and Amelie!
Head Coach Katy Cutler leads this development squad, many of whom are looking forward to their senior debuts whilst still in the junior pathways.
On the officiating side it is great to see Connor Jukes making his international refereeing debut at the Home Nations event after a successful domestic season and the Gauteng invitational club tournament in South Africa last month. Well done Connor!
All matches will be live streamed on a pay-to-view basis throughout the weekend by HBV. The company have advised that the cost of a livestream day ticket is €10 per day and a full event (3 day) ticket is €18. Access to live streaming is via Swim Ireland (https://page.inplayer.com/swim-ireland/)
