October has been a busy month with many clubs seeing action in the British Water Polo League and other events. Many of our athletes have also taken part in international events. There is a lot going on!
Games got underway for the Men’s British Water Polo League (BWPL) at Ponds Forge on 9 October. Some excellent photography (below) shows the split 50m pool in operation with a Division 1 match between City of Manchester and newly promoted Welsh Wanderers on the right and on the left,

September saw the water polo season commence, and what an exciting return we have witnessed!
To get back into the water polo mindset, many teams held friendlies with other local clubs at the start of September – it was great to see so many people enjoying local games and seeing friends they haven’t seen in a while.

Although August is usually a quiet month with teams winding down to go on holiday, this month we have been treated to excellent showcase water polo events organised by MANUP! Events. The first event was on Saturday 31st July at Liverpool’s Albert Dock, followed by Media City, Salford Quays on Saturday 7th August,
