The National Age Group Championships have been in full swing in April. The standard of competition has been high with clubs competing from all over the country.
Girls’ U19 NAG Championship
The final saw City of Manchester beat the defending champions, London Otter, by 5-3 to claim the crown. City of Manchester took an early lead and were able to hold on to that lead despite a spirited fight-back from Otter to take the title for 2017.

Cheltenham produced a champions’ performance to defeat City of Manchester 18-9 in the final match of the Super 5s programme at Gloucester on 19 March. This was the fourth time Cheltenham has won the title in six years. Well done to all.
In the women’s competition the title fell to be decided by the clash between Manchester and Liverpool. It was an excellent game which saw Liverpool win 5-3.

February is an exciting time in Water Polo as the British Water Polo League nears the season end. Two men’s titles were settled on 26 February as Invicta WPC beat Penguin WPC 13-7 to win Championship 1 at Watford and Portobello WPC beat Cheltenham Spartans WPC 15-8 to win Championship 3 at Walsall.
