Welcome to our club news for March 2017.

February is an exciting time in Water Polo as the British Water Polo League nears the season end.  Two men’s titles were settled on 26 February as Invicta WPC beat Penguin WPC 13-7 to win Championship 1 at Watford and Portobello WPC beat Cheltenham Spartans WPC 15-8 to win Championship 3 at Walsall. Welcome to our club news for February 2017.

Great to report that City of Coventry women were triumphant in the Trettondags International Cup held in Stockholm on 6-9 January. Victory in the group stages against local team Järfälla Sweden (11-6), was followed by wins in very physical contests against Finland’s Abo (20-4) and Sentterit (21- 6). The final saw Coventry take on the local team Järfälla for a second time, with Captain Vicki Hawkins leading Coventry in a tense contest to a 15-11 victory and seeing them lift the trophy.
