Game 1 v SUI Fri 21 April 2017
Strong start for our England U17s as they beat Switzerland 32-4 (10-0, 9-3, 9-0, 4-1) in their opening match at the EU Nations Cup in Prague. Here’s a video of Milly Wordley expertly converting a penalty against Switzerland to make it 5-0 early in the first quarter.
Next up are the hosts, Czech Republic, 4.45pm start UK time.
England U17s’ strong start to their EU Nations Cup campaign continues with an impressive 20-1 (7-0, 5-0, 5-1, 3-0) victory over the hosts, Czech Republic. Defensively strong and prolific in attack, the girls produced another fantastic team performance.

England U17s’ stormed to their third successive victory at the EU Nations Cup this morning with a 23-1 (3-0, 7-0, 7-0, 6-1) triumph over Germany. England dominated the match from the start and were ruthless in attack as they raced into a 10-0 lead by half-time. It was also another strong defensive performance and we were unfortunate to be denied a clean sheet as Germany found a way through late on.

A win will secure top spot in Group B and a place in tomorrow’s gold medal game.
Game 4 v DNK Sat 22 April 2017
England U17s have booked their place in the gold medal match of the EU Nations Cup after a powerful 18-1 (3-0, 2-0, 3-0, 10-1) victory over Denmark.
The outstanding result confirms England as clear winners of Group B with maximum points after four wins from four, scoring an incredible 93 goals and conceding only 7.

GOLD! England U17s have won the EU Nations Cup after beating South Africa 12-7 (4-0, 2-2, 2-1, 4-4) in a thrilling final here in Prague.
England raced into an early 4-0 lead and it was an advantage they never looked like giving up.
Defensively sound and superb on the counter, England were too strong for South Africa as they controlled the rest of the match to finish up worthy winners.
Champions England played five, won five and dominated this tournament from day one, firing in an incredible 105 goals and conceding only 14!
There were more reasons to celebrate during the presentations as England’s Annie Clapperton was named top scorer with 27 and Robyn Greenslade was voted MVP.
Massive congratulations to all the players and coaches, and many, many thanks to all the support here and back home!

Congratulations to London Otter women who have booked their ticket to the next round of European Aquatics 2024 Challenger Cup. The last match on Sunday 10th November in Group C saw Czech Republic hosts, Asten Johnson Strakonice, take on Otter Swimming and Water Polo Club.
